A small site for useful numbers

Everyday Fig is a collection of free, single-purpose calculators. Each page answers one question: overtime pay, a mortgage payment, Canadian GST/HST, RRSP room, a tip split, BMI, or the date 90 days from now.

The math runs in your browser. There is no account, no app, and no upload of the numbers you type. Open a tool, get an estimate, and leave.

Who it is for

People who need a number quickly and a short explanation of the formula. The Canada tools use current CRA-style rates where we list them (GST/HST, EI, CPP, mileage, RRSP, TFSA, CMHC, Ontario land transfer tax). Pay and money tools also cover common US-style overtime and sales tax. Always confirm official figures with your employer, lender, or government site before you file or sign anything.

How a calculator page is built

Each tool has a form, the formula in plain English, a worked example with round numbers, and a short FAQ. Canada pages name the 2026 figure we used (for example RRSP cap $33,810, TFSA $7,000, EI 1.63%, CPP 5.95% then CPP2). When CRA publishes new limits, those pages get updated and the date is on the explanation.

How the site is paid for

The calculators stay free. After Google approves the site, ads may appear on calculator pages and this about page. We do not put ads on the contact form, the privacy or terms pages, category lists, or the 404 page. We do not sell your calculations. We do not add extra ad networks.

YouTube
